Welcome to cosmocosmetic.lk, run by CosmoCosmetics (“Cosmo”, “we”, “us”). These terms apply when you visit our website or buy from us. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them. Please read them together with our Shipping policy, Refund policy and Privacy policy.

1. Using our website

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or use the site with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
  • You agree not to use the site for anything unlawful, to interfere with how it works, or to copy or resell our content or services without our written permission.
  • We may refuse service, suspend accounts or cancel orders where we reasonably believe these terms have been broken.

2. Our products

  • We sell genuine products sourced from trusted suppliers.
  • We do our best to show products accurately, but colours can look different on different screens, and manufacturers sometimes update packaging or formulas between batches.
  • Product information, ingredients and usage guidance on our website are provided for general information. Always read the label and instructions on the product you receive.

3. Skincare and safety

  • Everyone’s skin is different, and results vary from person to person.
  • We recommend a patch test before using a new product, especially products with strong actives such as retinoids, acids or vitamin C.
  • Our content is not medical advice. If you have a skin condition, allergies, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are unsure whether a product is right for you, please consult a doctor or dermatologist.
  • Stop using any product that causes irritation, and seek medical advice if needed.

4. Ask our beauty expert

Our “Ask our beauty expert” assistant gives general product and routine suggestions. Its answers can occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate, and they are not medical advice. Please use your own judgement and check product labels before buying or using a product.

5. Prices and availability

  • All prices are shown in Sri Lankan rupees (LKR). Delivery charges are shown at checkout.
  • Prices, offers and product availability can change without notice.
  • If a product is listed at a clearly incorrect price, or turns out to be out of stock after you order, we will contact you and either correct the order with your agreement or cancel it and refund you in full.

6. Orders

  • After you place an order you will receive a confirmation. Your order is accepted when we dispatch it.
  • We may limit quantities per customer, and may decline orders that appear to be placed for resale.
  • Please check your order, contact details and delivery address carefully before completing checkout.

7. Payment

  • We accept Visa and Mastercard (processed by onepay), Koko, bank deposit and cash on delivery.
  • Payments made with Koko are also subject to Koko’s own terms and fees.
  • Orders paid by bank deposit are processed once the payment has reached our account.

8. Delivery, cancellations and refunds

Delivery times and charges are explained in our Shipping policy. Cancellations, returns and refunds are explained in our Refund policy.

9. Offers and discount codes

Promotions and discount codes are valid only for the period and conditions stated. Unless we say otherwise, they cannot be combined, exchanged for cash or applied to past orders.

10. Reviews and messages

If you send us reviews, photos or comments, you confirm they are your own and lawful, and you allow us to use them on our website and social media. We may remove content that is offensive, misleading or unrelated to our products.

11. Our content

The text, photos, graphics and design of this website belong to Cosmo or are used with permission. Brand names and logos belong to their respective owners. Please do not copy or reuse our content without our written permission.

12. Third-party services

Our website uses third-party services, such as payment providers and delivery partners, and may link to other websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those services, which have their own terms and policies.

13. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for reactions or results arising from using a product against its instructions or our guidance. Where we are liable, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Sri Lankan consumer protection law.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies from the date shown above. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of Sri Lanka.
